Refund & Returns Policy

Your satisfaction is great value to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply reach out to our team at info@akarskin.com to resolve the issue. For more information please read below for our Returns and Exchanges policy.

The costs associated with the return are the responsibility of the customer. As we are a small, ever-growing, business, we try our best to accommodate everyone and provide the best customer service possible as we truly value you trusting Akar with your skin.

The package I received was damaged or has missing items.
Please contact our team at info@akarskin.com within 48 hours of receipts with photos of damaged items for further assistance.

Do you accept returns or offer refunds?
If you’re unhappy with a product for any reason, please send an email to our team at info@akarskin.com. We would be addressing any inquiries about your order in the first 30 days of purchase. Kindly note that shipping and handling fees are strictly non-refundable.

All returned items will be credited to the original payment method, you will receive an email confirmation when your return has been processed. Please note that refunds can take up to 5 business days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.

Non-Returnable Items
Gift cards.

Shipping Costs
Original outbound shipment costs is non-refundable and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We strongly recommend using a return carrier that provides tracking. Refunds are processed within 48 hours upon receipt of returned item.

Wrong Address
Please note that if the package doesn’t reach you after you provided a wrong or incomplete address, we will not be held accountable and will not be able to offer a full refund of your order amount - the customer is responsible for providing clear and correct shipping & billing information upon placing an order.

Cancellations and Order Changes
We process our orders very quickly and unfortunately cannot typically make changes after an order has been placed. If you want to cancel or make any updates regarding your order please contact at info@akarskin.com to see if a modification can be made. 

Stolen Packages
Please contact at info@akarskin.com as soon as possible and within 14 days of the delivery receipt to resolve the issue. 

Other Issues
We will not be able to provide refunds for skin sensitivity issues in regards to previously known allergies and sensitivities as all of our ingredients and formulations are 100% transparent and available for all to access.
